Carve-out “YOU” Time

In keeping with the goal of “New Year’s Resolutions”, I encourage you to make a conscious effort to carve out “You” time each day.

I am making it a daily habit to make sure I allot time for myself — even if this is just for 10 minutes.

I typically like a bit of down time in the afternoon while Jax naps to catch a few minutes of a show, read a couple pages of a novel, or of course, blog! If this can’t be achieved for whatever reason (welcome to real life), I am making it a goal to have a quick bath to de-stress from the day and relax. For me, this is the idea way to spend “You” time… some bath salts, a face mask and if I am lucky, a glass of wine or a cup of tea.
