I was at the local Farmer’s Market in Salmon Arm over the weekend. I always like to use trips (or weekend adventures out of town) to re-connect and reflect. I saw this sign in the distance and it truly says it all — something that I think we all need to remind ourselves of.
Before approaching your next task, situation, meeting, interaction, activity, etc., ask yourself “Does this make my heart happy?” If the answer is no, then the next question should be “Why am I doing this?”
